A big thank you to Harley at Peace Vans for teaching us all about van conversions at today’s Avants Tech Session. Harley and his team have built a great business at Peace Vans that consists of three separate units……sales, repair and rentals. Their repair and rental businesses focus primarily on VW Vanagons from the 80s/90s, while their sales business has zeroed in on the Mercedes-Benz Metris.
And with a recent partnership with Mercedes-Benz USA, you might be seeing the Peace Vans name much more in the future. Beginning next year, you’ll be able to walk into any Mercedes dealership in the US and buy a Mercedes-Benz Metris van conversion built by Peace Vans, very similar to what Westfalia was to Volkswagen back when Vanagons were so popular.
