Thanks to everyone who came out to the Mercer Island “Cruise The Loop” and Drive to Griot’s Garage. It felt so good to do car stuff again and see some familiar faces, even if we were all wearing masks :)
And what a turnout! We counted 198 cars who drove the “loop” plus a bunch more cars that went straight to Griot’s Garage. A big thank you to Tom Alberts for working with the City of Mercer to make this happen and all of the volunteers who helped manage logistics at the start and finish. And thank you to Alex Johnson and Aidan Vine for camping out in the bushes and taking pictures of every car that drove by. What a fantastic collection of automotive design!
Next year, we might need a bigger island to hold all of the cars!
