It might be winter, but it’s a great time to sign up for your first track day! Curtis Creager is an instructor with Proformance Racing School at Pacific Raceways in Kent and he’s on this episode to tell you all you need to know about doing your first track day, what mods really matter, and gives us great general driving and car advice. Another interesting guy you definitely should know, so we made sure we brought him on the show!
Supra Steve, the very first guest ever on our show, is back for this special episode! By request we were asked to talk all about how to buy a car out of state (and beyond) sight unseen. It’s not as easy as it sounds no matter what, but people do it all the time. Steve tells us how he bought his GT2 out of the country and imported it and Dan talks about buying many cars out of state and the mistakes he has made along the way. This is a great episode for anyone who’s done this or who is looking to do it, and yes, we know the experience varies greatly!

This year’s Sea-Mont Rally is going to be really, really hard to top. I mean, we might not have to cross any rivers or move a landslide, but it’ll be hard to top the fun we had this year in the many years to come. While Dan was away actually trying to not work on his vacation he missed a great guest, Beau Borders! Beau is a sound engineer, race car driver, and allegedly a “driver consultant”, but more importantly he’s another guest with some amazing stories. He spends his day job time working in Hollywood on a few little movies you might have heard of like Lone Survivor, Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, and Titanic. Cars connect people you just don’t really ever expect to have a connection with sometimes, it’s why we started this Podcast. Former Seahawk, Cliff Avril, is no exception of course. While absolutely famous for his work on the field, Cliff is a huge car guy who loves to rack up miles. He’s also a really down to earth, great guy, who gave us an unforgettable interview we’re really proud of and we think you’ll enjoy as much as we did.
