The cars were shining at the annual Mercer Island Car Show & Cruise the Loop last weekend. With 200+ cars in attendance, the show had something for everyone to enjoy, including a very special guest — the 1939 Bentley that won the Mercer Island Concours d’Elegance back in 1963. Big thanks to Tom Alberts for organizing the event and Riot Games for letting us use their facility.
Drift Everything! Last weekend Avants hosted a drift class with Colorado Drift School at IMI Motorsports Complex about 30 minutes outside of Denver. We had a blast learning to get sideways in a drift-prepped Nissan 350Z.

Miatas are always the answer! This year’s Miata Mingle took things to a whole new level. 200+ Miatas gathered last weekend at Griot’s Garage in Tacoma. From lifted NAs to slammed NDs, Sunburst Yellow to Racing Orange, there was something for every Miata enthusiast to smile about.

Last month we kicked off our first autocross of the season by celebrating Women’s History Month. The day was crafted around women’s participation, but all were invited to have some fun. Over 60 participants, including many spouses, jumped behind the wheel and enjoyed a long course which produced lots of speed and plenty of smiles.
