Avants members and their guests met in Bend, Oregon for the first Avants Grand Tour. We started at Porsche Bend who hosted us while we mingled with the Porsche Club of Bend.
Our first private collection tour showed us an immaculate garage with not one, but two RWB Porsches. The stories that were shared with us about them were almost as impressive as the cars themselves. From there we headed to our second private collection tour that boasted two private garages packed with Ferraris, Alfa Romeos, Jaguars and more. The streets were lined with the unofficial Bend welcoming committee of more Porsches, Ferraris and Audis, all drawing us into a delicious buffet of sandwiches and treats.
After a thorough twice over of the lunch table, a few went on their way back to Portland while a few others headed back to their Bend retreat. The rest of us were back on the road and made one final stop at Smith Rock State Park. It was late enough in the day that we got front row parking with some of the most scenic backdrops in the world.
Thank you to all of the members who made the trip from Portland, all of the Bend members who jumped into their first Avants event, Porsche Bend for the morning hospitality and of course to the private collection owners who opened their garages to us.
