We’re looking for a go-getter to join our growing team!

You’ll be responsible for launching, managing and growing the Phoenix/Scottsdale market for Avants. This is a full time position. Responsibilities include coordinating/managing events, networking with enthusiasts, developing partnerships with local businesses, marketing via social media channels, onboarding new members and more!

This is an exciting new position that will help solidify Avants as a leading national automotive lifestyle brand.

Tasks / Responsibilities

  • Events

    • Develop calendar of events (tech sessions, track days, private collection tours, etc)

    • Day-of event management (typically weekends)

  • Sales / Marketing

    • Build Avants into the premium automotive membership program for Scottsdale/Phoenix area enthusiasts

    • Represent Avants at various automotive-related events

    • Create, schedule and post events via all marketing channels (email, website and social media)

  • Business Development

    • Develop successful partnerships with local and national automotive businesses.

  • Community Management

    • Onboard new members (post introductions on social media, send welcome packages, etc)

  • Magazine

    • Identify articles for the Avants quarterly magazine. Coordinate with local writers and photographers.

Skills / Qualifications

  • Event Management — organized, attention to detail, willingness to work weekends/evenings, etc

  • Personable — ability to speak/connect with all different kinds of car enthusiasts

  • Flexible / Agile — ability to quickly adapt and learn new skills

  • Creative Design — follows Avants brand guidelines regarding marketing collateral, images, etc.

  • Results-Oriented — focus on output/results

  • Eager to take on more responsibility

  • Proactive problem solver

  • Technical Skills

    • Social media (Facebook, Instagram)

    • Photography and editing (e.g. Adobe Photoshop)

    • Email (e.g. Mailchimp)

    • Website – familiar with content management solutions

Experience

  • 5+ years in marketing/sales/project management or related field
