Avants Denver Scavenger Hunt

Looking for an excuse to get out of the house for a few hours? Clear your head, drive some awesome roads and win some sweet prizes with the Avants Denver Scavenger Hunt. We’ve created two awesome routes to choose from….North and South

Take a picture at the check points and post them to the Avants Denver Facebook group and we’ll send you a bottle of Griot’s Garage Ceramic 3-in-1 Wax.

This event runs through the end of next week (Sunday, June 7th). Team up with a few buddies or do it solo!

The Southern Route is almost purely canyon driving, with stops at scenic spots along the way to take photos, such as the Dinosaur Ridge Visitor's Center, the Central City Opera House, the Golden Gate State Park Visitor's Center, and the Buffalo Overlook off I-70 (bonus points if you get a Buffalo in your pic!). It's an extremely fun drive, and you're free to choose any direction or starting point you'd like. There are 7 photo stops to complete in all, and the drive should last just about 2 hours, but you're welcome to take it at your own pace.

The Northern Route is longer by distance, and a good balance between canyon carving and long straights in the foothills to put your foot down and enjoy the views of the mountains. It similarly has some great scenic photo spots, like the Stanley Hotel, Horsetooth Reservoir, and downtown Lyons. There are 6 stops on the North Route, and the drive should last about 1 hour and 45 minutes to 2 hours.
