We're looking for a Community Manager to manage the Tacoma region for Avants. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about improving the car community in the PNW.
This is a part-time position with the potential at becoming a full-time position in the future.
Responsibilities include:
Business development -- Develop relationships with automotive dealers, local service providers, marketing partners, national retailers etc.
Event management -- Manage and coordinate all events. This includes coming up with event ideas, scheduling the partners and venues, setting up the tent, making sure the events run smoothly. Basically, doing everything from beginning to end……from coming up with the idea for an event to cleaning up the garbage after the event is over.
Sales & Marketing -- Sign up new members. Represent Avants at various automotive events. Be the face of the brand.
Social Media -- Write content, post pictures, etc
Qualifications:
You are proactive. You are a "do-er". You are a problem solver.
You have previous experience managing events.
You are excited to work on the weekends.
You are a people-person :) You enjoy meeting new people.
