Avants members will have the opportunity to experience the Ken Austin Collection. As an inventor, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, Mr. Austin left a legacy of revolutionizing the dental industry, his philanthropy and of course making his mark on Oregon State University with the creation of their mascot, Benny Beaver. His love of how things work translated into a love of the automobile. Amassing a vintage collection over decades, it is a site to behold.
Mr. Austin recently passed away in 2019. We are thankful to the Austin family for the invitation to experience the collection. Ken Austin Jr himself has offered to be our guide.
Light refreshments will be provided. A perfect opportunity to bring the friend that’s been thinking about joining Avants.
