Want to improve your driving skills and have some fun at the same time? Join us for our inaugural Ladies Day at Emerald Downs on Sunday, September 15th.
You’ll get one-on-one instruction from our talented team of female instructors who will teach you how to be a better, safer and faster driver.
Exercises will include:
Slalom
Oval
Auto-x style course
This is a non-competitive event. The goal is for you learn some basic skills that you can apply to all types of driving, but above all, the goal is to have fun!
The cost is $80 per person/couple. Bring your husband/boyfriend or come on your own. No difference in price. The men will be able to drive the auto-x course in the afternoon (one car per couple please)

INSTRUCTORS
Annie Gill
Annie is a decorated autocross champion, having won 8 National Championships and 4 ProSolo Championships. She started her racing career at a Ladies Skills day over 15 years ago. She also has a problem buying cars (she has owned 73 cars so far).
Tasha Mikko
Tasha has been autocrossing for 15 years and has won several NWR SCCA regional championships, a ProSolo National Championship as well a National Championship. She is an instructor with SCCA’s Starting Line School.
FAQ
Do I need a fast/cool car to participate? No! Any car will be suitable.
Do I need a helmet? No. You are welcome to bring a helmet if you’d like, but helmets are not required.
Can I bring my husband/boyfriend? Yes. The Men will be allowed to drive in the afternoon on the auto-x course.
My husband is an Avants member. Do I need my own membership to participate in Ladies Day? No, you're good to go.
